"Lotus" represents the spiritual heart centre in man, a correspondence on the personal level of the "Chalice" which is the Cosmic Spiritual Heart Centre, the Heart of the Sun, from which flows 'Solar Fire', the energy we call Love. The "Lotus" is seen on the even-armed cross which will be a major symbol of Aquarius, the age now dawning. (Painted in 1973-74)
